Great psychological suspense in this one! Peter J. Thompson does a great job with the point of view character Charley Fieldner. Raised to be a hitman by his father and eventually takes over the “business.” His life slow begins to unravel when he finds out that his own name is on the list! Great blurb and execution. Narrator Gary Tiedemann does an excellent job playing Charley and characterizations of other characters. Very entertaining read.

Peter Thompson grew up on the east side of Chicago, in the shadow of the steel mills where the air was sooty and smelled of sulfur. His life wasn’t always so gritty, but the grit and realism finds its way into his thrillers.
